Even after the scheduled cruises stop, the shipping company offers atmospheric excursions, round trips and event cruises. Vorarlberg Lines passengers can use public transport free of charge to access all excursions and special cruises. The port building in Bregenz houses both a ticket office and a coffee shop, making it an attractive place to spend time!
Cuisine in the region focuses on the fresh, regional and sophisticated. Many of the specialities come from the farms or small craft producers. In autumn in particular, the kitchens offer the best natural products – specialities like mushrooms, pumpkins and much more are available at the colourful markets and harvest festivals throughout the region! Every Saturday there is a ‘Dornbirn Autumn’ market on the market square with changing themes – from pumpkin to fruit wine – and a colourful program of events.
