Trailrunning Auenfeld & Kriegerhorn
-
Höhenprofil
Demanding trail running round with flowing sections and strenuous climbs. Ideal practice lap for competitions or long practice round for training uphill passages.
This round leads first along the Lechweg to the Bodenalpe. Then follows the Auenfeld, a beautiful and very flowing section, ideal for all runners. The ascent to the summit of the Kriegerhorn, on the other hand, is again very steep and demanding in the end, but the view from the summit is all the more beautiful. The steep descent to Zug is perfect for training the controlled downhill run. Along the Lech it goes then again leisurely back to Lech. A great round for enduring trail runners and mountain runners.
The summit of the Kriegerhorn is perfect for a few yoga or stretching exercises in the great outdoors before returning to the valley.

Directions
From the centre of Lech follow the Lechweg in the direction of Stubenbach. About one kilometre after Stubenbach you turn left and reach the Bodenalpe. A steep meadow is the first challenge of this tour, which should not consume too many grains. Then it goes over a forest path in the direction of Bürstegg. But at saddle level you turn left before the Bürstegg towards Karhorn / Auenfeld. This is where the flowy section begins, which doesn’t stop at the end of the Auenfeld. Over the hilly terrain we always have a view to the Omeshorn over the beautiful Auenfeld, at the end of which the Skyspace Lech is waiting. After the Skyspace Lech we follow the road nac up towards Kriegeralpe. After the Kriegeralpe we go over the reservoir to the summit of the Kriegerhorn. Here you can let your gaze wander and pause for a moment. After a short break from the summit, follow the path to Balmalp and walk down a steep path to Zug. The descent is steep, ideal for intensive training downhill. In Zug you follow the signs to the fishpond and walk along the Lech back to Lech.
