07 Dornbirn Library

The new Dornbirn Municipal Library is more than just a house of books: the pavilion, designed as an independent form with a spacious atrium, houses a library, games library, media library and meeting rooms. 8,000 stylised ceramic books are mounted in front of the glass façade.

14 Blumenegg Culture Pavilion

The Blumenegg Pavillon is an event space in the midst of the remaining walls of the ruins of Blumenegg Castle. It is to be run by an association as a cultural and leisure centre for exhibitions, readings and concerts, theatre performances, conferences and family celebrations.

16 Islamic Cemetery, Altach

Years of discussions preceded the construction of the Islamic Cemetery in Vorarlberg, which was designed by Bernardo Bader. Featuring space for 700 graves, it is the second Islamic graveyard to be established in Austria after Vienna.
