Pure relaxation thanks to Himalayan salt!
Vorarlberg salt cave
Europe’s largest artificially created salt cave at the Gasthof Post hotel in the Klostertal invites you to relax!
The Vorarlberg salt cave is a unique space for relaxation and recreation in Vorarlberg. Here, about 44 tons of Himalayan salt are distributed over 100 m². A pleasant seaside climate results from a sophisticated ventilation system, the high salt concentration in the air that visitors breathe and a constant room temperature of 23 °C. In addition to relaxation, a stay in the salt cave can also provide relief from various health problems.
The salt cave is accessible to guests of the Gasthof Post hotel as well as day visitors. During a 45-minute stay, fully clothed guests make themselves comfortable on special health loungers with blankets. If necessary, the sessions are monitored by trained staff.
In addition to the Vorarlberg salt cave, the Gasthof Post hotel also offers its guests and external visitors relaxation in the Salarium, a salt-enclosed thermal relaxation room. Kept at a constant temperature of 45°C, visitors lie undressed on a bath towel directly in the Himalayan salt granulate. An effect similar to a sauna infusion is created by blowing around the sea-salt brine vapour.
