Golm forest-ropes course and flying-fox zip line
Boasting 11 courses with 79 climbing exercises at heights ranging from 1 to 16 metres, Vorarlberg’s largest high-ropes course on the Golm (Montafon) offers adventure and fun for children, teenagers and adults!
A 565 metre steel cable stretched over the Latschau reservoir provides the ultimate adrenaline kick. Fly over the lake with this giant flying-fox zip line! The Flying Fox is closed in the summer of 2023 due to renovation work.
Bregenzerwald aqua high-ropes course
The aqua high-ropes course at the Aktivzentrum Bregenzerwald is idyllically embedded in a gorge of the Bregenzerach river below Schwarzenberg. The course features abseiling from a 30 metre high bridge, various high rope stations, climbing rocks and via ferratas. At the very end, participants glide over the Bregenzerach river with the flying-fox zip line.
Schröcken adventure park
Also located in Bregenzerwald, in the holiday resort town of Schröcken, the Schröcken adventure park boasts a 42-rope course (the water, forest and sky courses) with rope slides and chain climbs of various difficulty levels in addition to 3 flying-fox zip lines. The ‘water’ and ‘forest’ courses are also suitable for children ages 6 and up. Featuring spectacular panoramic views, the flying-fox safari boasts zip line heights over the gorges ranging from 20 to 90 meters. Special: the Mega Swing! With a powerful jump, bounce from one side of the shore to the other!
Waldseilgarten Damüls
The Damüls forest high-ropes course (Bregenzerwald) is another ideal venue. The recreational area boasts a sports/playground area with beach volleyball court, football pitch, slackline, slide, barbecue area and much more. The six courses at the Damüls forest high-ropes course are accessible to visitors ages 6 and up. Don’t miss out on the thrilling flying-fox zip line: The 200 m cable extends from the rope garden to the adjacent Großes Walsertal valley.
Kletterpark Brandnertal
For a wide variety of moves at lofty heights, both beginners and the advanced should check out this thrilling forest high-ropes course. The 4 routes with a total length of 500 meters present real challenges for climbing fans big and small. Easier courses are accessible for children ages 8 and up who are at least 110 cm tall – and there is also a bamibiniparcour for the children ages 4 and up
High-ropes course in Ebnit
Are you looking for high-ropes course adventure? Then look no further than the small mountain village of Ebnit near Dornbirn at 1,100 metres above sea level. Behind the high-ropes course there is a gorge flying-fox zip line course with 5 zip line installations. Groups of 10 people or more with advance reservation can use the high-ropes course.
