Outings into the open countryside are a pleasure. However, they are only recommended in the company of ski guides, and the appropriate safety equipment is a must. Guided ski tours, courses for freeriders and accompanied ski safaris are offered by several ski schools. Equipment (skis, skins, avalanche transceiver, shovel, probe) can be rented in many places.
