01 Genusswerkstatt, Hohenems
Guests can sample a diverse range of delicious local specialities at the Berghof-Genusswerkstatt in the Emsreute district above Hohenems. This establishment is run by culinary craftsmen Daniel and Melanie Mathis who, along with their team, delight guests with a creative-classic kitchen menu. These palate pleasers can be enjoyed indoors or in the garden with a magnificent view of the Schloss Glopper castle and the Rheintal valley. Here, food quality is paramount. Even the meat is sourced from the restaurant’s own farm.

02 Gasthof Alpenblick, Sulzberg
Known for its magnificent views and fine Austrian cuisine, the Gasthof Alpenblick is located in the holiday village of Sulzberg. At the Gasthof Schöne Aussicht (beautiful views), it’s all in the name. The rustic yet modern Frööd inn at 1,600 metres above sea level in the popular Brand skiing and hiking area is a real eye catcher. Inside the plain, low-energy building with wooden cladding, warm colours and wood create a homely atmosphere. Here in the rebuilt Gasthaus Seibl inn, high above Bregenz on the slopes of the Pfänder mountain, the cuisine is traditional and hearty. The long-range views over Lake Constance to bordering Switzerland and Germany are magnificent. The inn’s atmosphere is welcoming and the value for money is often praised. In the evenings, sunset views over Lake Constance are included free of charge.
