The quiet version of skiing when you glide gently over the snow – this can be experienced on the “Innertal” cross-country trail in Brandnertal at the foot of the Mottakopf. The trail starts at the car park at the Palüdbahn valley station at the end of the village (entry is possible at several points, in good snow conditions also in the village centre at the Beck riding hall). First, turn left and follow the Alvierbach stream out of the valley until you reach the new multi-purpose building of the municipality of Brand. Here the trail now leads over a bridge to the other side of the stream to the football pitch. The trail loops again here before two medium ascents and a short descent back down the valley. After the moderately difficult descent, the trail leads past the Sacred Heart Chapel and back to the starting point. Alternatively, you can cross the road here and make another loop above the road directly below the Mottakopf. Please note: This last section or loop (difficulty: easy ascent, medium difficulty descent) is not always groomed.

Changing facilities: There are no changing facilities directly on site, but there is a changing facility in the public WC in the community centre or at the valley station of the Palüdbahn cable car.
Current status: You can find this in the daily updated trail report.

After cross-country skiing you can warm yourself up in the restaurants in Brand!
