  • Directions

    You start the winter hiking trail at the Oberlech mountain railway and cross the Lech. Then turn right and follow the path to the main road. Shortly after, the signposted hiking trail branches off to the left. Follow the path uphill through the forest. Soon you will reach the first highlight of the hike. A beautiful vantage point with a view of Lech. The path runs uphill. After about 20 minutes you reach Oberlech. The trail continues past the Oberlech mountain railway to the Skyspace. You cross the ski slope and arrive at Hotel Mohnenfluh. The trail passes the Hotel Mohnenfluh. After about 5 minutes, the path to Schottenhof branches off to the left. The Skyspace is already in sight. After another 5 minutes the way leads right away to the Skyspace. The panoramic view of the surrounding mountains is breathtakingly beautiful. Optionally you can continue on the winter hiking trail or descend the same way back into the valley to Lech.

    Alternatively, you can return to the valley with the Oberlech mountain railway.

  • Public transportation:

    Take the train to Langen am Arlberg or St. Anton am Arlberg station. From there, buses (no. 750+760) run at regular intervals to Lech Zürs am Arlberg.

    Approach:

    From Germany: Take the A 96 to Bregenz from there on the A14 to Bludenz, continue on the S16 to the Lech Zürs am Arlberg exit. Follow the B197 to Alpe Rauz, turn left here onto the B198. Through the Flexengalerie and over the Flexenpass you reach Lech Zürs am Arlberg.

    From Switzerland: Via the A13 and the Feldkirch, Hohenems or Lustenau border crossing onto the A14 as far as Bludenz. Continue on the S16 to the Lech Zürs am Arlberg exit. Follow the B197 to Alpe Rauz, turn left here onto the B198. Through the Flexengalerie and over the Flexenpass you reach Lech Zürs am Arlberg.

    From Austria: Take the Inntal motorway A12 and then the S16 to the St. Anton am Arlberg exit (Arlbergpass). Follow the B197 first through St. Anton, then through St. Christoph and over the Arlberg Pass to Alpe Rauz. Turn right here onto the B198. Through the Flexengalerie and over the Flexenpass you reach Lech Zürs am Arlberg.

    You can park your car either directly with your host or in the underground car park Anger. The underground car park is located directly in the town centre opposite the Raiffeisenbank Lech.
