    Freizeitpark Mountain Beach - clear circular route

    The Außerbach Runde is located in Gaschurn in the district of Außerbach. There are very nice views both down- and up-valley here. This circular route also has a lot to offer in terms of landscape and is flat.

    Many cross-country ski trails in the inner Montafon can be reached via the connecting trail "Ill." This trail connects various circular routes from the "Galgenul Runde" to the "Mountain Beach Runde." This trail is only advertised as a connecting trail because it lies directly on the winter hiking trail and does not meet our quality standards. Cross-country ski trails in Montafon can be used free of charge.

  • Directions

    The Außerbach Runde starts at Freizeitpark Mountain Beach and initially runs parallel to the Mountain Beach Runde. The Außerbach Runde, however, stays in the field and is therefore a few meters shorter. From here, it is possible to switch to the large Gortipohl Runde or the Mountain Beach Runde.

    Just leave your car standing

    The regional buses of the Montafon Railway operate throughout the Montafon. The main lines depart from Schruns station hourly.

    From Schruns station, you can take bus line 650 to Gaschurn. The stop is: “Explorer“. You can reach the entrance to the Außerbach Runde via the Mountain Beach Runde.

    For the return journey

    Bus line 650 takes you back from Partenen to Schruns station.

    Arrival by train

    The Montafon Railway runs hourly (sometimes every half hour) from Bludenz station. There are also direct connections from Lindau (Germany) and from Bregenz.

    Approach:

    Coming from Bludenz, take the Bludenz/Montafon motorway exit and follow the L188 into the Montafon to Gaschurn (Explorer Hotel Montafon or Freizeitpark Mountain Beach).
