Directions
The loop starts at the church square in Schröcken, from where it goes 500 meters along the road down to the Tannberg bridge. Before the bridge, a path on the left leads through the forest down to the Bregenzerache. Once there, continue along the goods road and later along the path straight ahead to Landsteg. From Landsteg, a goods road leads up to the Biberacher Hütte with a gradient of approx. 10%. Then past the hut, continue along the Nordalpenweg to the Schadonaalpe. A hiking trail leads past this to the Liethi hut, from where a path crosses the mountain ridge (maintain altitude!). Watch out for summit luck: from this path, you can take the summit of the Rothorn (additional 330 m ascent) to the top left – the same path also leads back to the route. Then head up to the ridge of the Fürggele and down again on the hiking trail opposite. Watch out for summit luck: from Fürggele, you can also take the summit of the Hochberg (an additional 310 m) – the same path then leads you back to Fürggele. From Fürggele, follow the hiking trail back down to Alpe Felle, from where a goods road leads back to Schröcken.
